Brazilian artist puts Barbados on canvas
Barbados is the fortunate focus of a series of paint-ings by a well-established Brazilian artist, Kleber Galvêas. The paintings are based on his observations of Barbados’ nature, people and lifestyle.
Several landscapes, still life and abstract pieces have been produced in the short time he has been in the country. The Brazilian Embassy and the Collectors Club recently sponsored “Travel Notes”, a showing of his works.
The artist is a native of the atate of Espirito Santo in Brazil, where he is also the owner of the Atelier Kleber Galvêas in Vila Velha….
